If you are unable to attend all of the days however, please do mention this in the “Additional comments” section of the registration form.
Please see the events page for each session as this differs slightly for each depending on staff and resource availability.
It is very much our intention to run the sessions at future points in time, though our budget currently only extends to offering the first two sessions free. If interested in taking the course at a later date, please get in touch and let us know so that we can keep you informed.
We welcome disabled applicants to the training. In order to best accommodate you, please ensure you fill in the relevant section of the registration form, or in touch with us beforehand so we can discuss how we might best adapt the training and accommodate your needs.
The fieldtrip day is a chance to see some of our environmental monitoring stations in action and learn about the Freestation initiative – a comprehensive predesigned system allowing for users to get started without the complexities of designing your own logger from scratch. We aim to meet directly at Leigh-on-Sea station by the Thames Estuary on the morning of the fieldtrip.
The April and May 2023 courses are sponsored by the Natural Environment Research Council (NERC). Travel and accommodation costs are covered, as are all laboratory and field-day costs. A course dinner will also be organised. Participants however will need to cover other meals and coffee.
